Cancellation/ Amendment of booking details/ Non arrival policy
Minimum Length of Stay: 2 nights (exception: June to August: 7 nights).
Standard Cancellation Policy: 72 h before arrival or 1 night charge.
No-show: 1 night charge.
Non-Refundable Cancellation Policy:
June to August: booking is non-refundable, non-amendable; no refunds are issued for shortening or cancelling of any confirmed booking (minimum 7 nights stay required, to confirm a reservation we require full non-refundable payment upfront).
Advance Purchase/ Early Bird/ Special Offers: booking is non-refundable and non-amendable, no refunds are issued for shortening or cancelling of any confirmed booking (to confirm a reservation we require full non-refundable payment upfront).
Please refer to your confirmation letter where your cancellation policy is clearly stated.
Amendments are allowed only prior to arrival and only for bookings with standard cancellation policy (subject to 72 h notice). As a lower rate may have been given for longer stays, the daily/ weekly rate which was initially in place may increase, if there is a curtailment/ shortening of the stay prior to arrival.
Guest checked in: Once guest is in house no amendments/ shortening of stay is allowed, no refund will be issued unless apartment is resold.
June to August: No refunds will be issued for amendments/shortening of booking.
Payments & Deposits:
Reservations made within four weeks of the arrival date:
Full amount is payable in order to confirm a reservation.
Reservations made more than 4 weeks prior to arrival
(not applicable from June to August or for Advance Purchase/Early Bird/ Special Offer reservations where full payment is required upfront)
1-6 nights you are required to pay the cost of the first night’s accommodation
7 nights +25% of the total balance is required to confirm reservation
Please be aware that we are unable to confirm or hold any reservation for you until the relevant payment has been provided or the full payment is settled.
On arrival, you will be required to pay your outstanding balance for accommodation if any, unless otherwise has been agreed.
We can accept cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) and you may pay by Bank Transfer.
Please note that your credit/debit card MUST BE presented upon arrival or else we will request you to settle payment with other means before we can check you in.
Dilapidation & Damage Deposits:
On arrival, you will be required to pay a £200.00 incidental/accidental deposit. An inventory inspection would have been completed prior to your arrival. Please read and check this information as your deposit depends on it. If you have any discrepancies please inform reception ASAP. If reception is not informed of any changes, it will be assumed that you agree with your arrival inventory checklist. Provided no lasting damage and all bills are settled, full refund will be made of your £200.00 deposit within 24 to 72 hours of departure (allowing for weekends and bank holidays) once the apartment has been checked from the original charge on check in.
Charge: £24.00 per day/night. We would require £100.00 refundable deposit for car parking remote control and fob (if applicable).
Check-in Time: 3pm
An early check-in maybe available but cannot be guaranteed unless paid for.
Early check-in fees are as follows:
To check in before 6 am – the full charge of one night’s accommodation
Between 6 am and 11 am - £100.00 inclusive of VAT
After 11 am till 3 pm – depending on our daily movements charge may be levied (subject to availability)
Early check-ins will most likely not be available from June till August.
Check-out Time: 11am
Late check-out may be possible depending on the occupancy of the building and the notice period you give. Late check-out fees are as follows:
From 11 am until 6 pm - £100.00 charge inclusive of VAT
After 6 pm – the full charge of one night’s accommodation at your existing rate will be charged (subject on availability)
Late check-outs will most likely not be available from June till August.
Can I extend my reservation?
Yes, you may do so by checking with reception to establish whether there is any availability. We will always endeavour to keep you in the same apartment but this may not always be possible.
If our housekeeping team find any belongings in an apartment, they will be registered in our lost property records and kept on site for a period of 4 weeks ONLY from your departure date. We will endeavour to contact you to inform you of missing items; however guests are responsible for their belongings. After 4 weeks items not claimed will be given to charity, this is due to space availability and fire risk in confined spaces.
Sanctum International does not accept any liability for loss, theft or damage to any personal belongings or valuables unless lodged at reception for safe-keeping.
Sanctum International does not also accept responsibility whatsoever for damage to, or theft from, or theft of, vehicles parked in our car park.
Sanctum has a NO SMOKING POLICY according to the new UK Law that came into force on 1st July 2007. Any person found smoking in the building (including apartments_client) will be charged £250.00 and more (up to £5,000.00). You may face a charge for repainting the walls and cleaning upholstery if the above policy is not adhered to.
Under no circumstances pets will be allowed to the building.
Any guest using their own electrical appliances (hairdryers, shavers, laptops, curlers, etc) must use the appropriate adaptor. Non UK plugs used without the appropriate adaptor is a serious fire risk. All heated appliances to be switched off and stored safely when leaving the apartment.
