Chelsea is an affluent area of southwest London famed for its avant-garde turned business chic reputation.

The Beatles and Rolling Stones lent part of their stardom to this part of London and it was the home of the 1960s and 70s fashion world. Although those days are long gone, Chelsea is still a chic and popular destination for designer shopping and all things cool and chic.

With stunning townhouses, fabulous shopping along Sloane Street, many of our top London apartments and all manner of gourmet dining options; it is easy to see why this area is so adored by locals and tourists alike.

Attractions In The Area

Popular attractions include RHS Chelsea Show which is the most famous flower show in the UK and attracts visitors from all over the world. It’s been going since 1912 and is home to some truly stunning horticultural designs.


The Kings Road boasts an eclectic mix of shopping options including chic boutiques, designer shops, independent labels, high street stores and interior design stores. Shopping can be tiring so there is a vast choice of eateries and cafes. Vivienne Westwood’s shop is a highlight as is the Chelsea Antiques Market.

There is also Sloane Street, which is London's most esteemed street for shopping luxury fashion, goods and enjoying a world class lifestyle.


There are plenty of places to see music including Cadogan Hall which is home to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; and plenty of places to appreciate art including the innovative Saatchi Gallery.

For something completely zen, check out the Chelsea Physic Garden, which is the second oldest botanical garden in Britain. Plus a quick trip over the bridge takes you to tranquil Battersea Park where you can rent a pedalo and sail through the lake.  

Of course for sports fans, Chelsea is home to Chelsea Football Club.
