Got hold of a chap called Roy McKenzie who was extremely friendly and helpful, responded immediately, and sorted me out. Roy made me feel as if I had a friend in London. "Just a note to let you know that we had an outstanding evening at 13 Half Moon Street for my Mother's birthday last week. We even managed to check-in a little early, which made our shopping trip easier as we didn't need to carry our bags around. The apartment was perfect in every way, and we enjoyed an "at home" atmosphere for the first family reunion in several years. Everything we needed was at hand, and we were able to prepare a terrific meal for Mum that she will talk about for many years. My only worry was the amount of washing up we left behind, but the check-out desk assured us that wouldn't be a problem !! All in all, a great success. Thanks for your recommendation. "just back from London, unfortunately I was ill the whole time but Scala House was wonderful they sent heaters and extra blankets when I was ill. before we arrived I spoke to the desk and they sent a very superior driver and van to the airport for us and arranged for the same gentleman to take us back again which was wonderful as I was extremely unwell. the kitchen was beautiful and new and the apartment spotless bright and spacious and the location was perfect for my companions within reach of lots of things and many tube lines. highly recommend. thanks" Jean Johnston, Toronto, Canada
