Zip Now London

If it’s hot you’ll love catching a breeze as you zip along 225 metres taking in some iconic London views on the Zip Now huge adrenalin-kick zip wire. You can reach speeds of up to 50 km per hour and ride alongside friends as there are four adjacent wires.

BBC Proms in the Park

Buckingham Palace Opening

Kids’ Week

More correctly called ‘Kids’ Month’. Kids’ Week is a chance for kids to go free to the theatre in August. There are a whole heap of shows on offer such as Braniac Live, Horrible Histories and the Gruffalo. Also happening are various special activities including tours, workshops and behind the scenes tours.

The Monster

Let yourself loose on the world’s largest inflatable course, The Monster, at Alexandra Palace from 23rd – 28th August. The course is a whopping 300 m long and includes more than 40 different obstacles. Alongside the course are Boozy Bingo, Mega Beer Pong, Drag Queen Karaoke and the Mystery Wheel of Glitter. There are special sessions available for children.

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has been running since 1932. A Midsummer Night’s Dream will finish on 27th July and is followed by the incredible Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Evita. Evita runs from 2nd August until 21st September.

Behind the Seams at Warner Bros. Studio Tour

If the weather’s not kind, or you simply want to experience a worldfamous opportunity, then it’s always worth heading a little out of central London to the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour. However, with lots of available dates, it’s worth heading there this summer to experience the Behind the Seams experience. It’s a chance to find out more about the 25,000 items of clothing used by the Costume Department.

Chihuly Nights at Kew Gardens

Dale Chihuly’s glass masterpieces are being showcased in the setting of Kew Gardens. Add in lights, music and night time and the result is truly spectacular. Chihuly Nights allows you to see the breath-taking pieces of art after dark from 15th August until 26th October on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Summer Streets

Once again, Regent Street has become pedestrianised on set Sundays for its Summer Streets events. This carries on through till 15th September on selected Sundays from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Street. There will be a variety of activities and entertainment as well as wonderful food and drink options.

Prudential RideLondon

It’s not often that cyclists of all ages and levels of fitness get the chance to ride the streets of London traffic free. For a chance to see famous sites by bike then the Prudential RideLondon event is for you. Taking place this year on 3rd – 4th August the ride takes you through central London.

Mamma Mia The Party
