Relax in the upholstered, velveteen armchairs and enjoy a spot of tea, then slip out onto the smart streets of Knightsbridge, past your own private square – from here, Harrods is just a five-minute walk.

Having met in the London financial markets and now living in Melbourne, your high-flying hosts travel the world for work, pleasure and collecting art. Their airy pied-a-terre is the perfect place for them to enjoy the company of friends this side of the pond.
In the frame
Though set on its own private square, this Victorian home (built in 1890) is anything but remote. Indeed, you’re well-positioned to take advantage of the designer shops and restaurants of Knightsbridge and Chelsea, the museums and galleries of South Kensington or the verdant expanse of Hyde Park. But no matter your path, when you return home be sure to enjoy a refreshing soak in the bath in the elegant marble and glass master bathroom. Spend indulgent evenings enjoying a cosy dinner for four at the welcoming dining table, or take inspiration from your surroundings at the sweet writing desk in the master bedroom – here an ornate black chandelier and soft taupe furnishings complete the picture.

This home welcomes babies in arms but is, unfortunately, not suitable for toddlers or children.
This home is situated on the third floor and there is a communal lift.
The twin bedroom is usually set up as two single beds. However, it can also be configured as a super king size bed. Please let our reservations team know how you would like the room to be set up for your stay.
This home doesn’t have air conditioning. Between June and September, we’ll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you’d like fans outside the summer period.
Since the onefinestay photo shoot, the home has been updated with some new pieces of furniture. We’ll be taking new photographs soon.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
When you arrive we secure a £1,000 hold on your credit or debit card. The amount is held by your bank until we confirm that no damage was caused during your stay. We will release the hold within five days after your departure, but it can take your bank longer to process the request from the credit or debit card company. If you do damage anything it’s always best to let us know before you leave. And once you depart, if we find any damage, we’ll get in touch immediately.
