Method of payment
There will be an invoice upon receipt of the completed booking confirmation.
Payment can be made by Credit/Debit card (Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, Maestro, Solo, VISA Debit) bank transfer, cheque or bankers draft.
Bank details will be supplied on invoices. Administration charges apply to payments made by Credit Cards, 3.5% for Mastercard and
VISA, and 4.5% for American Express. No charges apply for payments made using Debit Cards.
The apartment reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 5% above the UK bank base rate.
Failure to pay in accordance with agreed terms of payment may result in suspension of accommodation.
A copy of photographic identification must be sent to the apartment upon booking. The apartment reserves the right to cancel a booking should identification not be provided 7 days prior to arrival.
Credit card details will ordinarily be held against apartment damage and unpaid rent, however, a deposit may be charged at the sole discretion of Pro Tem Apartments Limited. The Client will be notified if a deposit is required. The deposit will be returned less any deductions within 14 days of departure.
Extension of bookings
Any option to extend must be detailed on the original booking confirmation. Should an option to extend be requested, the Client will have the option to extend the booking for an indefinite period, by notifying Pro Tem Apartments Limited at least 14 days prior to the original date of check out.
Should this option not be exercised within the time frame described above, the apartment reserves the right to re sell the accommodation after the original date of check out and cannot be held responsible for problems occurring by guests extending where notice has not been served as prescribed.
Should the booking be extended, the apartment will invoice the Client for the extension period.
Arrivals and departures
Check in is from 2pm on the day of arrival, early check ins can be requested, but not guaranteed unless booked from the previous night. Apartments must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
In the event that a guest needs to check out prior to the agreed departure date, a maximum 28 days cancellation charge will apply.
Notice of cancellation is required as follows:
Bookings of 3 – 6 nights:
72+ hours notice, no charge. Less than 72 hours notice, 3 night maximum charge.
Bookings of 7 night and more:
7+ days notice, no charge. Less than 7 days notice, 1 week maximum charge.
Bookings of 90 nights and more:
14 + days notice, no charge. Less than 14 days notice, 2 weeks maximum charge.
Where notice of cancellation is submitted prior to arrival, charges will be applied until the expiration of the notice period, applicable
above. For example, where 7 days notice is given, 5 days prior to arrival, to cancel a booking of more than 7 nights, a charge of 2 nights will apply.
Where notice of cancellation is submitted during the booking period, charges will be applied for the full cancellation period.
Should early departure mean that your booking falls in to a higher rate category due to the new, shorter booking length, the higher rate will be charged retrospectively for the full term of the new booking length. For avoidance of doubt, the revised rate that will apply will be the published rate, unless specifically agreed otherwise.
