With Hyde Park and Kensington Palace and Gardens just 8 minutes’ walk away, you are also in walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall and High Street Kensington, one of the premier shopping streets and Kensington Church Street, where you can find a range of unique art, antique and other shops.  Harrod’s – and much more exclusive shopping in Knightsbridge is just 15 minutes’ walk along Cromwell Road and into Brompton Road or a short ride on one of the many bus routes.

With many high-end London hotels in the immediate area, the area close to the apartment provides very well for visitors to London and the areas around both Gloucester Road Station and, to an even greater degree, South Kensington station are home to a huge range of restaurants across a wide range of cuisines from around the world and to suit a wide range of budgets.  A range of coffee shops- well-known brands and unique places – abound around the area.  For something a little up market, try tea or dining at The Adria lower down in Queen’s Gate or afternoon tea or dining at The Ampersand Hotel in Harrington Road, South Kensington – both quite distinct experiences.

On entering the building, there is a lift from the Ground Floor level to the Third Floor.  There are then 2 moderate flights of stairs to the entrance to the apartment, which leads into a hallway with the Lounge and kitchen just ahead and a further staircase to the upper level with the 3 bedrooms just to your right.

Your bright apartment has hardwood flooring throughout and a cosy Lounge and Dining Area with a wide hatch from the kitchen. The apartment has been newly furnished throughout in March 2018  to a high standard.  The flat screen TV has UK and international Freeview channels.  Free WiFi operates throughout this spacious apartment.  The Lounge is very bright with superb views directly across Queen’s Gate to the iconic Natural History Museum – one of London’s best known visitor attractions.   The modern well-equipped kitchen has ample preparation area and all of the facilities you would need for your stay including a 4-ring gas hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine.   A guest bathroom is located in the mirrored wall of the Lounge.

The spacious and elegant Master Bedroom is to the left at the top of the stairs from the Lounge and has a King Size bed with large headboard, bedside tables, wardrobe and ample drawer space.   The ensuite modern bathroom has bathtub and shower over as well as toilet and his and hers wash-hand basins.  Two long windows look out to the balcony which runs outside (not accessible) and across the road to the iconic Natural History Museum.

The Second Bedroom is very spacious indeed and is off to the right at the top of the stairs.  This has 2 Single (Twin) beds and ample space for a quality floor mattress with full linen to be placed for a 7th guest.  There is a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and a chest of drawers.

The Third Bedroom is also located to the right at the top of the staircase from the Lounge and is rather smaller but still with ample space for its Double (Full) bed, 2 bedside tables and wardrobe.  The Second Bathroom is located opposite the Second Bedroom and has a shower cubicle, toilet and wash-hand basin.

Between Cromwell Road, Kensington Gardens and High Street Kensington, you will enjoy walking around the immediate area of your apartment, where the garden squares, range of individual shops, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets and more gives this part of South Kensington its own flavour.  There is a Waitrose supermarket  4 minutes’ walk away in the small shopping mall by Gloucester Road station open from 7.30 a.m. up to 10.00 p.m.  Gloucester Road across Cromwell Road has the restaurants and coffee shops of many major brands.  Further down Gloucester Road, you can find The Hereford Arms – a very atmospheric pub.  Walk a little further to the area around South Kensington station and you will find yourself truly spoilt for choice from the wide range of restaurants close by in South Kensington, with restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines to suit every taste and to suit a wide range of budgets.

Your Neighborhood

South Kensington is one of the more exclusive residential areas of central London and it’s really not hard to see why.  Some of the best stores in London are a short walk away in Chelsea and Knightsbridge and South Kensington is also a very central spot for getting around the rest of this great city.

If you enjoy museums, there are some of London’s best in this area – just a short walk past South Kensington station and up Exhibition Way for the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum.

London is famous for its parks and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park (essentially one park) are in easy walking distance up Queens Gate – a lovely, wide boulevard.

However, South Kensington was once just a village outside London and it still retains some of the atmosphere from those earlier days in side streets, garden squares and some lovely, very individual shops and restaurants.  They can be a bit pricey but they are a unique experience.


Getting Around

Gloucester Road underground station is 5 minutes’ walk from your apartment and has the Circle, District and Piccadilly Lines – so you can take the train here direct to and from London Heathrow Airport as well as direct to Victoria for the Gatwick Express, Liverpool Street for the Stansted Express and King’s Cross/St. Pancras for trains to Luton as well as trains to Paris, Brussels and elsewhere.  South Kensington station is almost the same distance with the same access to the same lines.  There are direct routes to most of London’s main sights with many just a few minutes’ away from the station.

Meet & Greet

We provide a full Meet and Greet Service – a member of the team will meet you on arrival at your town house.  After you make your reservation, we will liaise with you over your arrival time and to arrange an airport transfer quotation for you, if needed.


Late Check In Fee

Please note that there is a flat Late Check In Fee of GBP 30.00 payable on arrival, if you arrive from 21.00 onwards or if you arrive significantly later than your planned arrival time without letting us know of the change.


Security Deposit

A security deposit of GBP 1,000.00 is secured by us and will only be claimed against if there are any damages in the apartment during your stay.


House Rules

On check in, we require the photo ID of the person who paid for the reservation and sight of the card used for the stay.  If this person is not a guest, their photo ID must be e-mailed to us ahead of arrival and the photo ID of the lead guest must also be shown.

Your apartment is in a building shared with other tenants and guests.  Please be very considerate of them.

No Parties permitted.
